Hello new comer.. there is no bug..read the previous posts..the learn why I say this...:)
First read..rather than just make an incorrect post;)) ...

Most likely .you don't have patience and rush with activating the fix:)

[quote]I'm about to head to work, and I'm all kinds of happy that the fix has enabled the bench.

Though, I'm zoomed out further than I'd like for walking around the ship. Can I adjust the FOV to correct that?

Yes, the FOV change works on the ship as well.

Kayden, what I'm saying is that I don't like the field of view stretched out so much. I prefer it where it was before. Can I zoom back in a little bit?

Edit: I'd like to set the FOV back to 70. Call me weird, it's how I'm used to playing the game. Please and thanks.

Yeah, just go tot he gear icon on the right, just put the slider to 70 and save there before you run the game but if it is running reload a save and it will take affect. I also have it set to 70 because I don't want to get use to something in SP and then have to go back to default in MP, would be too annoying for me. Cheers.

Hi Helifax, first of all a big thanks for all the work your doing on this.

I'm running Eyefinity and having a few issues.

v2.1 r398

  • HUD centring is not working in combat. Menu's (Squad skills, weapons, mod bench, etc.) are all correctly centred on the middle monitor, including the character models.

  • Transitioning from a non-combat to a combat area (e.g. Shooting range on the Citadel) resets the FOV to the games default. Note: loading a combat area (e.g. landing on a planet) loads the FOV fix correctly.

The old version (v2.1 r396) worked correctly, although I had to enable it after the main menu had loaded, otherwise it would break the main menu.

v2.1 r2 (from page 9 of this thread) did not work at all, and enabling it during the EA/Bioware intro video broke the main menu so loading a save was not possible.

I'm running the 1.01 standard game version from Origin (although it was installed from the physical disc, not downloaded). I'm also running Windows 7 x64. I'm using 5760x1080 res over 3 screens, so no bezel compensation.

Let me know if any more info would help.

Hi,
I cannot test it on Eyefinity as I have Surround :( The engine works differently on Eyefinity than Surround, so all the things the engine does are completely different. That is why you see this behavior. I know the game support Eyefinity if no bezels are being used.
To make the fix compatible with eyefinity I would need an Eyefinity setup to do my stuff there:(

I am sorry that I cannot help more:(

Best Regards,
Helifax

Anyone else having an issue with 398?

Field of view seems to change but the UI doesn't move over to the main screen.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong...

Are you using Eyefinity?

Okay so I'm having trouble. I used this fix for about a half hour and it worked. I have a single widescreen monitor and used the FOV slider and put it to 90. I had to quit the game to go do something, but now when I try to use the fix again, it simply does not work... and yes, I am activating the fix during the intro EA/Bioware cutscene (tried in the beginning of the cutscene, the middle, and the end of it.) I've checked to make sure that the "game running" and "fix enabled" fields both say "yes." I've also tried to re-download the widescreen fixer twice but nothing seems to be working. Any ideas? Also, I am using an Origin legit copy.

The thing that is weird to me is that I got it to work fine normally for a little bit, and now it doesn't seem to be working at all.
