Just played the demo, Widescreen is in!

Oh, and it's awesome.

edit: Just to clarify it allows true widescreen resolutions, and has a stretchy option! <3

Shared memory and WUXGA?

I doubt it'll run at a reasonable speed, although it might if you can turn a lot of the options down/off...

What sort of shared graphics chip is it?

only UXGA (1280x800)

the graphics are Unichrome Pro/2 as mentioned.

On-board graphics of the acer system:
Integrated UniChromeâ„¢ Pro IGP
- Dual pixel pipelines
- 128-bit 2D/3D engine
- 200MHz engine clock speed
- 16-64MB shared memory
Optional external AGP 8X/4X port
MPEG-2 hardware acceleration

previous generation on-board graphics:
Integrated UniChromeâ„¢ IGP
- Single pixel pipeline
- 128-bit 2D/3D engine
- 133MHz engine clock speed
- 8-64MB shared memory
Optional external AGP 8X/4X port
MPEG-2 hardware acceleration

Whoops. I need to read more carefully.

Oh, 1280x800 is WXGA (wide XGA)

UXGA is 1600x1200... which is why I was asking, 'cause 1600x1200 on an integrated graphics solution would be painful in the extreme... ;)

That's OK. :D Congrats on the purchase... I hope you like it! Can you give us a review? I'd be interested, and I'm sure others would too. Post it in Hardware if you do. Initial impressions and things like that. :)
