Hello all , I'm looking at changing from my 3x24" Landscape eyefinity to a 20/30/20 PLP setup. This will be used almost exclusively for gaming.
I have been using eyefinity for a while now and my current primary card solved "the line" issue we all hated by using 3 DP outputs , mixing output connections seemed to be the cause of the line issue. Now i plan on getting a HP ZR30w with DP but i cant seem to find any suitable side monitors that have DP inputs. I really do not want that problem back by mixing DP with DVI again if at all possible.
Does anyone know of any monitors that are 1600x1200 with DP that would line up well with the ZR30w? i have found some that are 1600x900 but that is too narrow in portait to be any use imo. I really apologise if this has been asked numerous times before but most of the plp posts i have found dont seem to cover this issue. ideally they should have DVI also seeing as i am very interested in the possible DisplayPort to DVI MST Hub with PLP support which i can only hope turns up soon! Basically any help building the best possible PLP gaming setup would be very much appreciated! I realise im kinda asking for the moon here but i figured this is definitely the best place to ask , you guys are the gurus :) If you have any recomendations over the HP ZR30w S-IPS for a central display im all ears too ;)
Thanks for taking the time to read this, i hope someone can offer some advice :)
