Redid the patches. CodeFusion doesn't seem to get falsely flagged by Windows Defender like the other patcher did but it still gets flagged on VirusTotal by a few scanner engines.

I'll link to the download but gladly remove it if there is any issue with linking to it.

If anyone would like to make a patcher themselves, here are the details :-

Offset: 0231ED5C
Search pattern : B7 6D DB 3E 55 55 15 40

3440x1440
Replace pattern : 43 53 D6 ?? 8A E3 18 ??

5760x1080
Replace pattern : 00 00 40 ?? A4 AA AA ??

2560x1080
Replace pattern : 00 00 D8 ?? 26 B4 17 ??

Awesome! This fix works 100% perfectly and is legit :rockout:

Totally use this method for any future fixes you may have that other method is super sketchy and makes it real hard to trust since we don't know you personally yet.

Thanks a lot for your work Man we appreciate it, also welcome to the WSGF family

No intention to spread viruses believe me. I've taken down the links. As far as I can tell it's a false positive as it gets flagged as a HackTool by MalwareBytes. I believe it's due to the patcher I was using commonly be used for cracks and the like. I'll redo the patches using CodeFusion and add a VirusTotal link too.

Cool Man, I just tried out your other fix and it works perfectly and is 100% legit!

Since we don't know you yet it is real hard to trust new fixes from a new modder so you can imagine if a fix gets flagged for a virus it be crazy not to question it or be concerned even if we know of false positives in the scene that can happen on occasion.

Let me know if you want me to nuke my OG post about the first files + virus for I be more than happy to nuke them since your new fix is perfect! I have no concern that you are trying to do harm(which I now know you did not intend) and are only trying to help out the community and want to be part of the family.

Thanks again for your work and the fix :rockout:

Glad it's working for you! I totally get it with the old fixes being flagged, it was my fault for using a sketchy patcher to make the patches. Along with any new fixes I post I'll put the details so people can do the patching manually or make their own patchers. It's nice to give back to a community that's been so helpful as a fellow enthusiast of widescreen gaming.

Cool, all good Man. Nice, that sounds like a plan and probably be also safer for your comp as well. For sure and we really appreciate it, thanks again!

Hello guys. So I've been enjoying the game on 2560x1080 thanks to the great Wintermance, but the cutscenes were still in 16:9.

However, I just found out that if you pause during a cutscene and resume back in, the cutscenes become ultrawide. I don't know if it'll work on other resolutions, or even if it'll work for other 2560x1080 users.

If anybody has the time, could you please check if it works? I hope this information can lead to a fix, and until then, may it be a temporary solution. (I pause whenever a cutscene is about to start and resume right back in and it's almost perfect.)

EDIT: Here's the youtube link for anyone interested in seeing it working :) https://youtu.be/95GKsTfO5go
