This game looks great, I wonder what sort of support they have for widescreen?

on second through, I'd say it's going to be just as big of a pain in the ass as BF2 and Tigerwoods!

If it's made by EA (sorry, published, whatever...) then it's not gonna have widescreen support... the only time they got that bit right was Rugby 2004...

The demo was release today (11/11). The file is pretty big (550MB). I'll post my feedback when I'll have tested it on my 2005FPW.

I just tried the demo ...
Sorry... there's no native support for widescreens ... :(

I guess we will have to hope Wogg can update the patcher.

Is the game half decent? Worth buying if I liked the NFSU2 game?

It's much like Hot Pursuit released way back in the 90's except more free form as in no set routes. It's hard to tell if the game will give you the same or more freedom as in NFSU2 but it looks good so far.

I wish EA would just get it together and put proper WS support in their games as i'm sure it wouldn't take that much to do it.

Oh and at 1280*1024 (stretched :( ) with full details expect fps varying from 30 - X as for some reason (i can't see why) the game is a graphical hog.

Been looking around for some kind of *.ini file to edit, but no such look so far, found this file X:Need for Speed Most Wanted PC DemoGLOBAL WIDESCREEN_GLOBAL.BUN.....

I really hope that wide mode can be fixed somehow.
