I expect this game will still be out in late March. I have no idea how the scaling will look when playing in widescreen but I expect it to be very similar to how it looks on the 360.

Mm...

It's not that I'm a pessimist, it's just that I will want to have the box in my hands before I believe it's released. ;)

(I've grown accustomed to disappointment with Duke Nukem Forever  - I still have a PC Gamer UK mag that says 'Full Review of Duke Nukem Forever Next Month!'; and that was in 1997!)

I cant wait for Oblivion, seems like Bethesda have been working really hard on improving all the "not so great" bits from Morrowind (which was incredible anyway!).

I would rather get the PC version, i just hope my rig will run it well when it comes out :) Might end up upgrading to whatever nVidia have got up their sleve by the time it comes out!

It definatly supports widescreen, I've seen a picture of a developer playing the PC version on a big widescreen monitor. Hopefully they get the FOV right as well. Even if they don't I imagine it won't be hard to mod the FOV.

I imagine they'll get the FOV right. It's being co-developed for the Xbox 360 and that requires widescreen.

The latest EB newsletter touted HDTV support as an Oblivion feature, so I'm hoping that means the pc version, too. And hopefully some 16:10 lovin' for you laptop/wide monitor folks!

I'll need to build a new pc to play it, though....

LMAO!

Classic!

I can see it now - I think it might have been my uni having a fit of pique. :(

...

Co-development has nothing to do with maintaining support crossplatform, unfortunately. Lots of games have suffered due to cross-platform issues. (Or the PC version has, anyway...)
