The confirmed solution lists Hitman 2 as playable in widescreen by using a window. Is there a way around this?

Every time I start a game in windowed mode (4:3, 16:10) the music plays but the screen remains black. Pressing escape does not skip the scene, the game is essentially frozen with sound.

The cut-scene works fine when playing in full screen mode. Is there something that needs to be disable/enabled in the ini for windowed mode to work properly?

Thanks.

Why the hell do they call it a trilogy when it does not have the first game? 2, 3, 4? That makes sense. :?

Does anyone know the default FOV for the third hitman (contracts)? Or what 16:10 FOV goes in the toca tool? Thanks again.

Thats the first game, then I suppose they decided to make 2,3 and 4 a trilogy. Hitman: Contracts (The third one) actually has alot of the first games missions in it, but there redone.

I can't help you with your problem, but I can help confuse the matter of the "trilogy" even more.

There are four games:
Hitman: Codename 47
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
Hitman: Contracts
Hitman: Blood Money

The "Hitman Collection," released by Eidos in late 2006 is a trilogy containing 1, 2, and 3.
The "Hitman Triple Pack," released by Eidos in 2007, is a trilogy containing 2, 3, and 4.
And the "Hitman Collection" on Steam is a trilogy containing 1, 2, and 4.

So there are three different trilogies, and each one is missing a different game. But all of them have #2.

Okay, just got the original Hitman 1 game, would love for it to work in 16:10 resolutions but it just aint (tried .ini hack, just ends up with a Direct3D error).

Could I skip the first game storywise and just play Contracts instead?
