Read Full Detailed Report - Sonic Riders

Players follow the exploits of a blue hedgehog and his vast array of humanoid-animal friends and rivals. There are multiple game modes including story, normal race, tag, and survival. Characters race on several variants of hoverboards that are powered by "air". When a player's character runs out of "air" they must hoof it on foot, claw, or whatever. There are several pit stations scattered throughout courses that allow players to refill their "air" gauge.
Tricks performed on jumps also refill the "air" gauge which allow players to skip pit stops. There are several characters available initially to play from with additional characters unlockable through achievements. Now go out and impress the pink hedgehog with your board.

Two questions.

==Singleplayer anomalies==

Do any of the 2D elements involve gameplay? That is, are there any 2D gameplay segments that stretch? Or anything else where stretching negatively affects the gameplay?

==Multiplayer support==

Is this a split-screen multiplayer game? If so, can you post comparison screenshots? Split-screen hor + would look different from normal hor +, so it would be good to have a visual record of it.

Meat of the game is the racing screens. Stretching is no problem.

Multiplayer section updated.

I've made a patch for the resolution part to make it easier for people to patch it:

Hello,
I would like to add (or rather replace) 1280x1024 resolution to Sonic Riders.
But when I've opened SonicRiders.exe in a HEX editor, I didn't found anywhere that HEX values from first post.

On the line 2652D0 is only this.

I checked my version of SonicRiders.exe, but it's same as in first post (Retail 1.0), but I have an European version of Sonic Riders, so there should be a problem.

Does anyone experience with this? How I can force Sonic Riders to use 1280x1024 instead of maximum 1024x768?

PC version only support 2 players. I want to belive this 4 players multiplayer screenshoots are non-related emulated version of console counterparts (that support up to 4 players).

I have some exes for some widescreen and 21:9 resolutions in the 2 attachments below. It now fixes the HUD in all modes except tag mode. Tag mode has a glitched HUD.
