Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition has now been released in the UK. (Or, at least, I've just received confirmation that it's being shipped to me...)

W00t... This is still slated for September I believe here in the US. I was thinking of getting it but I already own both versions for the PS2 so...

The Special Edition never made it to the UK. Which is such a pain, as Vergil is possibly the coolest bad guy ever. There was a time shortly after it was released when I wondered about asking someone in the States to buy me a US PS2 and DMC3:SE... ;)

Hopefully I'll be able to have a play with it soon...

Had a play. Wasn't able to figure out a simple way of getting widescreen working. A pain, since it works fine in the PS2 version. ;)

However, DMC3:SE works on Vista.

And playing DMC3 with a keyboard is just totally wrong.

Must go get an XBox360 pad...

So far my opinion of this port is a very bad one. It runs better on Vista than it does on XP.

I'm seriously tempted to ask someone to buy me (if I pay them, of course) a US NTSC PS2 and DMC3:SE on the PS2...

Must... play... as Vergil... :D

Hey!

I have the Microsoft Sidewinder Gamepad Pro and i can't seem to be able to change the controls through the options menu. Do i really need to buy a gamepad that's a replica of the PS2 with analog and digital control at the same time???

This is so much of a direct port of the PS2 that they don't even take into consideration the PC's hardware. AAAhhhhhh........ u can't believe how i wish Squaresoft will wake up and develop an exclusive Final Fantasy for the PC that uses our very powerful graphics card with pixel and vertex shaders everywhere.... OK i'm dreaming sorry !!! :?
