In regedit, you can change the screen resolution to what you want. Look for the screenX and screenY values here:

HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftMicrosof t GamesClose Combat2.00

Can you post a 4:3 and 16:10 set of comparison shots, and possibly do a Detailed Report?
