All on high in DX9, no AA. Hope you like them.

Am I the only one on the net who gets a 'meh' reaction to crysis? somehow doesn't seem much new than farcry or any of the other generic shooters from years past.

Well, it is basically Far Cry on steroids, minus the mutants, and a little bit of Call of Duty thrown in. It's nothing ground breaking, gameplay wise, although the nano suit is great.

It's stunning ... great shots mate ... :D

Although screenshots don't really do it justice as it is so much better in motion.

Amen to that.

Gameplay wise the only two things that I think it really adds are the nano suit and the fact that you can alter weapons quickly while you're playing.

Engine and graphics wise, it is insane.

Nope, you're not the only one mate... That nano schmano suit is just to console for my liking. Really REALLY puts me off.....

Actually I was planning on replacing my aging 939 parts for shiny new core2 parts but right now, it makes no sense for me to do so. UT3 ran like butter, even after I fixed the noAA part, I'm pretty sure crysis will be the same (can't get it atm, almost overloaded my monthly cap), and there aren't ANY games announced for next 2 years that are remotely interesting to me. I'd get a console but of the 2 games I had hopes for, one isn't released till next year (burnout paradise) and the other is plain uncontrollable (lair). Add to that that I wouldn't touch the 40/60/80gb edition with a 10 foot pole due to overpriced and wi-fi breach problems, I'm a gamer without a game or platform.

Some shots with the DX10 stuff enabled in xp ... it is of course unplayable because of the low fps ... about 1-14 ... it varies quite a bit ...
It doesn't look that much better than high settings with the couple of tweaks I outlined here ... http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/8318#comment-163195
