Yeah I just tried HL2, it doesn't have a crosshair. I'm going to install Smod Tactical to see if that works.

HL2 EP1 has a crosshair, albeit it doesn't have the quick info things that show your health and ammo.

HL2 EP2 is in the same boat as EP1.

I will send them an e-mail tonight hoping for the same answer ;).

I'm afraid you're right, but e-mail them anyway. Your vote counts.

I hope it will count for the definitive solution :).
I will tell them about HL2, HL:Source and Lost coast, they all have the same problem.

So I'm an idiot and completely forgot that SMod: Tactical doesn't have crosshairs in favor of iron sights. D'OH!

I noticed the same problem replaying HL2 the other week. I Have the orange box version, but its all fully patched according to steam.
