I'm having issues even after the 1.1 patch with Bioshock. I can't get a 5400 * 1050 resolution, so I'm resolved to using 3840 x 800 which should be the same aspect ratio. Despite this, when I'm in game, I can't see my arm, my life, my eve, my bullets, or anything. It is like I am extremely zoomed in. The menus are not crisp and look largely zoomed in as well.

Is there a config file I can download for SGU that lets Bioshock run well at this type of resolution? How have others got it to work for them? I'm having similar problems with Crysis as well if you have information that that.

Basically, I just want my games to run in the full resolution if possible, or an acceptable solution otherwise.

Thanks,
davulf.

Try 3840x1024. TripleHead2Go does not support 5400x1050 in any game. With 3840x1024 there is a little stretching but personally I don't think it is much of a deal.

I have't tried the 1.1 patch yet, but with Racer's patch I was able to adjust the field of view to see my hands and everything, and even to counteract the stretching from using 1680x1050 monitors.

The more games that I play, the more that it seems getting the three 1680 x 1050's was a bad choice. It looks almost as if I should have gone for 3 4:3 monitors instead, as the TH2G doesn't even support our resolution.

In Bioshock, I've been going with 3840 x 800, as it is the same resolution as with the monitors. There isn't really any stretching to be seen aside from on the side monitors (which is weird).

I can't try 3840 x 800 since I have the analog TH2Go... :(

Yes, three 4:3 monitors is better. I'm still pretty happy with my setup anyway but I wish I had known more than what the Matrox site told me in its FAQ...

Do I need a special brand of monitor?
TripleHead2Go can be hooked up to any monitor, including flat panel monitors. To take full advantage of TripleHead2Go, we recommend you use three identical monitors (that is, monitors that support the same monitor settings such as monitor resolution and refresh rate).

Maybe I should ebay my analog one and get the digital one?

I think I found it,
did you have "Horizontal FOV lock" set to "Off" ?in the game options?

hopefully that fixes your problem.

Apologies for not posting that I had solved the original problem, as this had progressed into more of a discussion on why I couldn't get my max resolution (which would be amazing).
