1:
Oscar Wilde. Come on, that's not trivia.

Too obvious? Even for here?

2:
Kano.

3:
Eversmack / Evercrack

Correct.

4:
Not sure how you measure fame here, but I'll guess Qarl's.

Pffft. How many articles has Quarl's been the subject of?

5:
Bullfrog.

I was thinking of a person.

6:
China, and an airplane that crashed into a radioactive swamp in Brazil.

7:
Baiken, from Guilty Gear X.

Correct.

1. Considered by anyone with a brain as the best video game designer ever.

I was thinking Derek Smart...

Ok I'll get my coat.

Anyway, these questions are way beyond me. And there I thought I was a bit of a gamer

I've never read any articles about texture packs. Ones about Qarl's exist, though.

I was thinking of a person.

The king of amazingly ambitious games that ultimately aren't that much fun to play. AKA Peter Molyneux.

I will rephrase to better meet wikipedia standards.

The "father of modern videogames," this person is generally regarded as the most influential/best/important video game designer of all time.

This texture patch broke into the mainstream media Cranky.

Wikipedia standards frown on ad populum. I'm going to have to {{Who}} this.

The only mod I can think of that broke into the mainstream media would be Hot Coffee, which technically isn't a texture pack.

Dunno the name, but are you referring to the fan-patch that screwed Bethesda over and the ESRB came over, kicked them in the nuts and relabeled their "T" Oblivion to "M"?

Sucking the life out of threads keeps me eternally youthful. I keep a decanter on my desktop, filled with the life of other people's threads.

Shigeru Miyamoto designed Link.

The only famous nudie patch I'm aware of that is actually a texture pack is Nude Raider. Though AFAIK, it's more the concept that's famous than any specific pack - I don't know of any specific pack that's more famous than the 20 zillion others that do the exact same thing.
