Yeah its the UE3 engine, so typical results in TH.

I have completed a FFoW detailed report for those who are interested.
But, more importantly, IMK has come up with a way to enable console.
Just go to this location:
C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommonfrontlines fuel of warGCGameConfig
Or this for steam (ignore the (x86) unless you are using 64bit):
C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommonfrontlines fuel of warGCGameConfig

And edit this file:
GCInput.ini:

[Engine.Console]
ConsoleKey=Tilde
TypeKey=SemiColon

IMK also recommends that you change the game to start up in windowed mode, however I am not sure if that is required- testing it tomorrow.

Once in game hit ~ and enter 'fov xxx' where xxx is the FOV required, for 3840x1024 TH2Go: 122-130 or so seems right so far!

It is not perfect but better than without the hack. using 122 fov I get this:

Well this is HALF of what I see, the only image I can get with FRAPs. Weird eh?
I don't think you need to run it windowed so just enable the console and enter your FOV. If there are cleverer people out there who could tell me how to get a better image I would much appreciate it.
I shall test it in MP tomorrow and see if I get kicked ;)

If the game doesn't have a screenshot bind, then the Print screen button is your bestest friend.

Ah, thanks. I wasn't very clear.
I meant if some clever person could tell me how to make the in game image look better. even with the right FOV the far edges are on an angle, similar to doom3 b4 I used the files that Paddy (I think) made
Cheers
anyway

The game stretches the game for TH resolutions. I'm looking into this. :)

I get a very very stretched horizontal picture with 3840x768.

The 'fov 130' command zooms the view out, but does not correct the aspect ratio.

[Edit] Perhaps like UT3, there is a limit on the maximum FOV (100).

Hello ...

I feel I need to point out that this is not entirely correct ...
... Also it may be maxed at 100 which is normal for UT3 engine games.
This may be true for Unreal Tournament 3 but it is not normal for UT3 engine games (UE3) ... GoW, MoH Airborne and R6 Vegas all do a FOV higher than 100.

There is no limit in FFoW for FOV. You can set it as high as you want. The problem is the aspect ratio since the in-game options only give you a choice of three. I've managed to correct the aspect ratio, but the offset keeps changing (typical UE3), so it needs a little more work put into it.
