After a clean reinstall of XP I couldn't find my Matrox CD, so I downloaded the latest version of PowerDesk-SE from their website. Then came the 'LowLevelDll failure' others are experiencing, and I never had before. The program crashes at Windows startup and crashes again when started manually.

So I thoroughly searched and eventually found the CD, uninstalled PowerDesk-SE version 11.10.300.9 and installed good ol' 11.9.200.5 instead. No more crashes.

Good news!

I'll dig up my CD and do the same.

Absolutely RIDICULOUS that Matrox has not fixed this, and other issues with it.

Thnaks for that, I will do the same.
I found out that if you unplug the monitor from the TH as the PC did the window splash screen and leave it for a bit (until booted fuly into windows) then plug it back in, it doesn't crash.
However I will reinstall the old one as that is easier!
