Hopefully others have bought this fine game :)

1. Anyone knows how to get the UI to display in the center monitor only (like rFactor) instead of stretching on all three.

2. Field of view seems distorted on the side monitors (left mirro looks super huge!), what am i doing wrong ?

Thx!

1. GTR Evo is an ISI-based sim (like GTR, GTR2, GTL, rFactor, ARCA Sim Racing, RACE 06/07, etc.). To date, only rFactor has code to center the GUI, since ISI develops rFactor in-house. All of these other sims stretch the GUI, and all of these other sims are developed by non-ISI entities that license ISI's gMotor2 engine. It is up to SimBin to add support for this, just like they would need to for GTR2.

2. This is pretty typical of ultra-wide displays rendered through a rectangular viewport. It happens with a single screen, too, but it's much less noticeable. Read this:

Indeed! Thanks J, you're right on the money.

As an FYI - Simbin is very aware of the tweaks required for GTR Evo for the GUI and pre-game menues. They are looking into this currently.

Cheers,
Mark

Simbin, hope your reading these request. I would welcome a centered UI and gauges, track map, etc on center screen!

Without making reference to the WSGF specifically, it might be good for you guys to head over to the Simbin forums to do some lobbying too ;)

Mark,

I don't see any forums at the SimBin website (http://www.simbin.se/). Of course, this website says GTR Evo hasn't been released yet...

Can you point us to a forum, or better yet to a specific thread, and then post it here:
http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/9325 ?

one11,

Since you own the game, can you start a thread asking for a properly centered and scaled GTR Evo GUI? Then post the link in the "Lobbying Central" sticky here and I (and others, hopefully) will jump in.

I don't want to start the thread myself, as I don't own the game.
