I made a video of the problems with Dragon Age Origins in Eyefinity. I didn't get very far in the game when I ran in to this and I haven't touched the game since I saw it for myself after reading about it here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBdmoyAb1mU

Needless to say I am pretty bummed about it. :(

Wow, that is worse than I thought it was.

Anyway, the game is freaking amazing and the best PC game in a long while, I would advise getting it anyway and running it on one monitor, it's very worth it.

yeah I already went through dragon age, its amazingly good. ME2 and DA:O my 2 favorite games of recent memory. Both great in there own way ... I am just hoping they fix these ultra wide screen issues so I can go through them with 3 monitors a second time and maybe a third.

This is why I played most of the game in "tactical" mode (top-down Baldur's Gate style). Don't really see how it's possible to do combat in the third person mode anyway, just too hard to click around on enemies and get a sense of distance.

The way I look at it, at least they gave us a playable EyeFinity mode (and the videos were fine too), unlike say Mass Effect 2 which doesn't work at all.

Zoomed in for exploring and zoomed out for combat is the way to go.
