So I will be building my new PC tonight and last night I set my 3 monitors up on my new desk. I got an executive desk so my PC will be on the right side of it and the DVI cable from the left monitor does not reach that far. If I get a 6' cable will I lose anything with the extra length or is it fine?

Pictures worked for me. Nice desk. The cable length will be fine. When I got my executive desk I had the same issue and had to get a 12 foot dvi cable.

I've seen DVI cables at lengths of 50 feet, so I'm sure you're fine. I'm using a 15-foot DVI-D without issue.

Since the middle monitor uses the display port and I have the extra DVI cable, what about just buying a DVI female/female adapter and diasy chain the 2 cables. Or would the single 6' be fine.

Either solution will be fine :)
I use a simple female/female connector myself with no issues using 2x 2.5mtr cables to get from the far left of my desk to the far right monitor, similar setup as to yours, just the oposite sides. I had the connector kicking around so just used it, otherwise i would probably have got me a longer cable instead.
