yeah, My rig works like a charm, but i have a coolermaster 540 watt power supply that i want to put in my old computer and I want a new psu for this one that will be capable of running 2 Visiontek 4850s. I'm unsure about how many watts i would need. I don't want to overdo it with a crazy psu that's just plain unnecessary, but i don't want it to be just barely enough...catch my drift?

perhaps for the future i want to get a 1TB hardrive, i prolly won't need help finding it, but if anybody knows one that's a good deal I'll look into it.

Personally, I like to use this:
http://www.corsair.com/psufinder/default.aspx

Getting a good PSU means that you can get away with lower W. That is because its more stable in output and you don't need as much headroom. I favor Corsair, but thats also much because they are more silent then many PSU's. By wattage, you should be able to run two 4850's, but I don't now how stable the coolermaster is in output. I would check reviews of different PSU's before you buy one. The one I have, corsair HX620W is a good one, but cost a bit. Its modular, which makes things easier with wires and its silent. There are many good ones, but this I can firsthand recommend.

The Samsung 1TB editions have been favored among many (I don't have it myself), because they are faster then average, costeffective and makes little noise. That would be my recommandation.

Corsair PSU, Samsung HDD. That's my recommendation too.

This is one of the better deals in PSUs I've seen lately. This is a very good PSU.

I've heard terrible things about the new sammies 1Tb's. I think I'd opt for the WD Black editions. Greens I've heard power down when there not in use, and sometimes windows tells them to powerdown when they are in use! I'd rather go black than worry about saving 1w/h.

A common problem with a lot of the 1TB HDs is heat. Unless you really need lots of HD space the 500GB ones may be a better way to go, esp if your case doesn't have above average airflow on the HD bay.

Please elaborate - I've got three of the Samsung F1's 1TB, and they're fine so far. Fast, quiet, cool (seriously - they're idling right now at 18, 19 and 20*C - ambient temp is about 14*C). Had them for... I forget. At least six months.
