Ok, I am new to the forum, but not new to the TH2Go.

I used to own 3 x acer 19' screens with a GTX260. The TH2Go worked like a charm. I upgraded a day or 2 ago to new Samsung P2370 monitors as well as a 295GTX.

I downloaded the latest driver from Nvida as well as the latest frimware and drivers for the TH2Go.

I have tried everything possible, all the info on these forums, even phoned Matrox, left messages, but I cannot get it to work. It keeps giving me an error that I cannot use this resolution. If anyone has some more ideas, please share them...

Thanks

I think you don't give enough details for people to be able to help you out effectively unfortunately
like : what's "everything" ?
is phoning Obama included in it ? :P (just a joke ;) )

Which nvidia drivers did you try out ? 182.50 ?
What OS do you run ?
Did you try custom resolutions?

I know it's probably a pain in the ass but unfortunately the less details we have the more inaccurate the answer unless you want to hear things you already did.

Yes, try the 182.50 drivers plus the beta powerdesk.

Beta PowerDesk:

Sorry Mate, but you are correct. Herewith then the details...

I started off with Windows 7 Build 7100 - 64bit.
I loaded the following:
1. Nvidia 190.38 Drivers
2. I upgraded the firmware for the TH2Go with version "THDE v2.3.40.t6.56
3. I then loaded the powerdesk software version 2.05.00.020

With this setup I can go to 4320x900. When I go to my Nvidia control panel and I go to "add resolution" I can see that the 5040x1050 is availible, but as soon as I test it, it fails.

I then proceeded to load Windows Vista 64bit.
Again I followed these steps;

I loaded the following:
1. Nvidia 190.38 Drivers
2. I upgraded the firmware for the TH2Go with version "THDE v2.3.40.t6.56
3. I then loaded the powerdesk software version 2.05.00.020.

It still did not work. I then looked at some of the previos posts on the issue. I downloaded the "gtx 200 beta fix" but this als did not work.

I then tried the manual way with the settings in "add resolution". Again this did not work as well.

I tried to see if I could change the refresh rate on my Samsung P2370 monitors, but I cant seem to find this setting.

I have now installed Windows 7 RTM. Did the same installations as above....result? 5040x1050 still does not work :(

Vista + 190.38 doesnt work here too at 5040x1050, im running Vista + 182.50 + beta powerdesk and its all fine.
You should uninstall powerdesk, then the video drivers (reboot), then install 182.50 drivers (reboot) and finally the beta powerdesk (reboot again).
Only then try to set resolution to 5040x1050 (using Matrox GXM setup, then click on "change").
