These look like active converters to me (due to their formfactor). I really dont see why these would not just work fine.


They look passive to me apart from the typical apple-white look. No AC adapter visible.

Hmm the plot thickens!

Guess this means an expensive DP --> DVI "Active" adapter?

Or maybe just bad luck on your behalf with something not working or configured correctly. I think this solidify my choice to get a 2408WFP for my center monitor though since it can take DP nativity.

they have released a product with no instuctions what to do say it can run 3 screens and dont say if i can with 3x dvi monitors. this is stupid nice release. what they going to do in 2 weeks release a very expensive adaptor for abpout £90

hey, could you precise a few points please ?

so you tried to connect what to this output ?
the DP-DVI passive adapter then what type of screen ?
1920x1200@60Hz ? higher ? lower ?
was there any other screen connected ?
if yes, would it be possible for you to test out a reboot of your computer with just a single screen connected to DP-DVI ?

(for all we know it could be a hardware or software limitation so just trying to isolate the problem)
